Join usMission Shiksha is a flagship national programme of JMV Child Care Foundation, dedicated to providing basic education, healthcare, and nutrition to underprivileged children. Our vision extends beyond traditional classroom boundaries, aiming to create vibrant and dynamic learning environments where children can explore, experiment, and discover themselves without the constraints of conventional academic pressure.
Mission Shiksha addresses these challenges by establishing learning centres within schools to foster skills such as creativity, time management, and decision-making. The SPICE framework — Social, Physical, Intellectual, Creative, and Emotional development — guides our approach, focusing on competencies essential for a strong future.
We offer non-formal education for children aged 6–14 who are not in school, and short courses for dropouts aged 14–18. Facilitators undergo rigorous five-week training, covering classroom management, child-centric teaching methods, and skill development.
In the past year, Mission Shiksha directly provided education to 13,000 children through 160 centres across 15 states. 41% of the beneficiaries were girls. We successfully mainstreamed 87% of eligible children into formal schools, and ensured 100% of our teachers received training in effective academic methodologies.
Recognising the importance of a supportive home environment, we introduced parental workshops and retreats — offering guidance on nurturing parent-child relationships, creating a conducive home environment, and supporting children's progress.

Payal's eyes light up when she shares her dream. Despite a challenging start — being abandoned by her father at birth and losing her mother in an accident — Payal has found support and care from her father, Mukesh, a construction labourer who struggles daily to provide for her.
Now studying in the 5th grade at a Mission Shiksha centre in Uttar Pradesh, Payal enjoys drawing and playing chess. Inspired by her own experiences, she aspires to become a teacher to help children who lack educational opportunities.

Nandini Shrivas, a determined young woman from Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh, dreams of building a successful career in the healthcare sector. Coming from a modest background, she has faced financial challenges throughout her journey.
After the loss of her father, her family struggled to meet their needs. Despite these hardships, Nandini remained focused on her education and worked hard to achieve her goals.
With the support of a merit-based scholarship from JMV Foundation, she continues her studies with confidence and determination — and aspires to become a skilled nursing professional while supporting her family and building a better future.
Two sisters, one father's dream, and a scholarship that kept it alive.
In Burari, Delhi, after their father's passing in 2019, Jyoti Sharma raised her daughters, Anshika (Class 9) and Ishani (Class 7), with courage and hope. Despite financial struggles, the girls stayed dedicated to their studies, holding onto their father's dream.
At this crucial time, JMV Child Care Foundation stepped forward and provided them with education scholarships. This support eased their journey and brought new hope into their lives.
Today, Anshika and Ishani study with confidence, proving that challenges cannot stop true ambition. Their story inspires us that with the right support, every girl can rise and achieve her dreams.
